Anahita Apoorva

 

Anahita Ravindran and Apoorva Ravindran began classical vocal training under their grandmother Smt Shanthi Jayaraman and are currently receiving advanced training from globally acclaimed musician-composer-director Shri. Chitravina N Ravikiran. They are artists much sought after in several parts of India and have performed in prestigious festivals like Uttar Dakshin, Kalavanta, Bharat Sangeet Utsav etc. They have also made several concert tours to the US as well as countries like Bahrain. They have sung for Dr. Vyjayantimala Bali’s dance programs. Both are faculty members of International Foundation for Carnatic Music. While Anahita is proficient in playing the Chitravina, Apoorva is a violinist as well.
